College Application Advising

Hello and welcome!

My name is Sofia Zapiola and I have been helping high school seniors apply to and attend their perfect-fit university for nine years.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree in Education Leadership, Organizations and Entrepreneurship from Harvard University. Additionally, I have completed a post-baccalaureate certificate in College Counseling from UC San Diego.

I love helping people with the college application process - whether it be revising an essay, researching scholarship opportunities, or creating a detailed schedule to help them submit their applications on time. My passion truly lies in making the college application process accessible for EVERYONE, no matter your background.

I am an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and a voting member of the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling.
